All mated queens have been selected from our breeder colonies and have started to lay eggs and produce healthy brood. These are not from imported queens and are all raised in our home apiaries.

Queen bees will be sent in travelling/introduction cages with accompanying workers and food. See our queen introduction section. Please make sure your receiving colony is made queenless, removing all queen cells prior to the queen’s introduction. Ideally queens are best introduced to a pre-prepared small colony/nucleus of young well fed bees.
